NSCNA will hold a general membership meeting on Tuesday, November 9. The agenda will primarily cover two main topics.
First, we will select a five-member Nominating Committee. Every January, we elect a new Board of Directors and Officers for the year. The Nominating Committee is responsible for recommending candidates for these positions, so they are an important influence on the future direction of our association. We have collected names of some people interested in serving on this committee, and will open the floor to further nominations at the meeting.
We also will be receiving a report from the Bylaws Committee, with recommendations for bylaws changes, and a vote on the proposal. Notification of the proposed changes was sent by postal mail to all NSCNA members last week. You can download a copy of the proposed changes here.
