Waterwise Landscapes: A Workshop For Creekside Neighbors

Join Shoal Creek Conservancy and water quality expert Anne Harrison to learn more about how you can contribute to the health of Shoal Creek, and our other urban waterways, through water-wise practices on your own property. We will talk about different kinds of green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) that are great for residential properties, with a focus on rain gardens. We will also connect you with resources and rebates to help with your individual project. The workshop includes a rain garden tour! This free workshop will be held at Reilly Elementary School, and will take place both inside the school library, and outside at the rain gardens. At this time, masks are optional but welcome indoors. Light snacks will be provided. Interested? Registration opens March 12th! If you are unable to attend the workshop but want to learn more about residential GSI, visit our Creekside Neighbors Program page at https://shoalcreekconservancy.org/event/waterwise-landscapes-a-workshop-for-creekside-neighbors-2/
When: April 2nd, 2023 4pm-6pm
Where: Reilly Elementary School 405 Denson Dr, Austin, TX 78752. (Workshop will begin inside the school library.)
