  • North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan Public Hearings Scheduled

    The draft North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan is scheduled for public hearings at Planning Commission on April 10th (6:00 PM) and City Council on April 26th (4:00 PM). Both hearings will be in City Council Chambers at City Hall (301 West 2nd Street, Austin, Texas). The draft plan is available for review in PDF format (15MB file) at http://austintexas.gov/northshoalcreek.

    The draft plan will also be available for review at the North Village Branch Library.

    Thanks for all of your help throughout the North Shoal Creek Neighborhood Plan process! Residents and property owners in the planning area will receive a notification via USPS. If you have any comments for the public hearings, you can mail the comment card in the notification letter back to us, or email staff, or testify at the public hearings.

  • From Council Member Pool’s Office Re: Package Bombs

    The Austin Police Department is investigating three cases in which packages exploded in Austin, including one in District 7.

    **If you receive a package that is unexpected, mislabeled, or from an unknown source, call 9-1-1 immediately and APD will investigate. Do not handle the package.**

    APD is actively investigating this case and will keep our office and the community informed as they learn more. Please circulate this information among your neighbors.
